ABOUT
I specialize in technology transactions and commercial contracts, and I have experience working with clients across various industries, including artificial intelligence, biotechnology, blockchain, cybersecurity, financial services, and renewable energy.
I earned my law degree from the University of Pennsylvania and obtained a B.S. in Computer Information Systems at the age of 17 and an M.S. in Information Science at 19. My STEM education has been invaluable in helping me grasp technical concepts quickly, which has greatly contributed to my effectiveness as a technology transactions attorney.
My legal career began at a leading Wall Street law firm, where I had the opportunity to represent major financial institutions. This experience laid a strong foundation in corporate law and ingrained in me a meticulous precision that I have carried throughout my career.
From there, I transitioned to an in-house role at a Fortune 500 technology company, focusing on technology transactions and contributing to knowledge management initiatives aimed at streamlining internal processes. This experience provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the legal and operational needs within a large tech corporation, enhancing my ability to navigate and advise on tech-related legal matters.
Later, I joined a prominent Silicon Valley law firm, where I worked with a diverse range of clients, from industry giants to budding startups. In this role, I further developed my expertise in software, API, data and content licensing, as well as software as a service (SaaS) models, professional services engagements, strategic partnerships, and privacy law.
Drawing upon these experiences, I established my own legal consulting practice, where I have provided tailored legal support to companies ranging from startups to large corporations. My unique combination of STEM education, Wall Street rigor, in-house practicality, and Silicon Valley innovativeness allows me to help clients adeptly navigate complex commercial relationships and regulatory landscapes.
I am licensed to practice law in California and New York.
